Willow Run Suds & Scents Company Overview
Several years ago my family took a trip to Greenwich, New York to pick up some beekeeping supplies from the Better Bee Supply Company. I saw an advertisement for a soap making class and decided to take the class. After taking the class I wanted to learn more about soap making and the benefits of the ingredients on my skin. After reading and reaching out to soap makers, I began to dabble with various recipes. After several attempts my family and friends all became recipients of my new found passion: a bar of soap!
Approximately ten years later I have a “soap room” and office in my home and am an active participant in craft fairs, local charity events, town festivals, local business events, area hair salons and enjoy interactive farmer’s markets. Through these activities, I have built a steady customer base. I enjoy meeting new customers and always welcome their feedback on my products! Many of my products are inspired by my customers!
The soap recipes I have developed are made with natural ingredients such as: Shea butter, mango butter, avocado oil, avocado butter, coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, goat’s milk and beeswax. All recipes use a combination of those ingredients which enhances naturally healthy skin.
Willow Run Suds & Scents was officially launched in 2017. The business continues to grow with new products being tested and created. What fun!

All orders are shipped within 1-2 business days. Soaps are sold by the bar and each bar weights approximately 4oz. The bars are gentle and mild and can be used as a facial bar or a body bar. Each cold processed batch of soap has cured a minimum of four weeks and up to eight weeks. The curing process ensures a hard, long lasting and luxurious bar of soap. The voluminous bubbles rinses clean with no residue. The same batch of soap never comes out exactly the same which makes cutting each batch that much more exciting!

Description: A mild floral aroma with lavender buds for gentle exfoliation

Guinness Soap $8.00
Description: Like the name implies it is made with Guinness Beer for a more masculine aroma. When paired with a shaving brush these Guinness soaps make a great gift.
Ingredients: Guinness beer, sodium hydroxide, sodium lactate, coconut oil, castor oil, vegetable oil, olive oil, mica powder

Garden Spearmint $8.00
Description: A customer favorite all year long. The fresh and clean scent with a combination of hot process soap chunks on top of a cold process bar creates luxurious bubbles.

Description: To celebrate Irish culture, this Celtic Knot’s oval shape fits comfortably in your hand. The addition of poppy seeds provides mild exfoliation during a shower or bath.

Description: A trip to Cape Cod was the inspiration for this bar, which contains fresh juice from the handpicked cranberries in the cranberry bog in Orleans, Massachusetts.

Soapy Cupcakes $8.00
Description: Don’t be fooled into tasting these cuties, they are definitely soap! Soapy cupcakes are a customer favorite and a unique gift. These change frequently throughout the year including strawberry, cherry, vanilla, coconut lime and chocolate! The combinations are endless!

Sweet Honey Almond Oats $8.00
Description: Several customers have used this gentle bar on their sensitive skin. The combination of oatmeal and honey make this unique bar a best seller! It is a mild bar of soap with whole and ground oatmeal and honey from our bees. This bar is frequently purchased with the Honey Almond Vanilla Body Butter.

Whipped Body Butter $10.00
Description: Whipped Body Butter was added to the line last year and continues to be popular with customers. The Shea butter and coconut oil provides hydration for all skin types. A dab of this butter goes a long way!
